Let’s delve into the hidden treasures of the Gems mine, where the secrets to unlocking your dreams await.

Let Desire Chase You:

Stop chasing start attracting

The Pursuit of Desires

If you are pursuing a specific desire—whether it’s love, money, health, or self-fulfillment—you must understand that chasing these things directly may not be the most effective approach. While you can eventually achieve them, it’s essential to realize that the path to obtaining them lies in pursuing something else.

Shifting Focus

Those who have successfully attained their desires were not solely fixated on them during their journey. While they held their goals in mind, their focus and actions were directed elsewhere. The subconscious mind plays a crucial role in this process. If you are constantly running after your desires, you unintentionally program your subconscious to believe that these desires are constantly ahead of you, and you’ll perpetually be in pursuit.

Subconscious Beliefs

So, what’s the key to manifesting your desires? It’s simple but profound. Imagine your desire, let’s call it “Thing A,” running ahead of you. Instead of continuously chasing Thing A, shift your focus to “Thing B,” which could be developing positive habits, working on self-improvement, or connecting with a higher power—whatever resonates with you. While Thing A may glance back at you, maintain your unwavering focus on Thing B. As a result, Thing A will be intrigued and start to slow down, trying to capture your attention.

Allowing Desires to Chase You

Yet, the most critical part is to never lose sight of your focus on Thing B. Thing A, your desire, may come to a complete stop, but even then, you don’t need to rush towards it. Keep running, keep pursuing Thing B. It is in this very moment that your desire will start chasing you. You’ll find that it wants you even more desperately than you wanted it. The power of attraction works in mysterious ways.

If you doubt this method, take a look at those who have already achieved what you desire. Ask them about their journey, and you’ll likely discover that their approach aligns with this principle. While they may express it differently, the core message remains the same—instead of running after their desires, they shifted their focus to something else and allowed their desires to chase them.

Backwards Law:

Instead of control lean back

Universal Laws

Just like the physical laws governing the universe, there exist spiritual laws that shape the fabric of reality. These laws are universal and apply to every individual in the same way. Just as the law of gravity dictates that a ball thrown upward will come down, the Backwards Law states that if you relentlessly pursue something in the universe, it will run away from you. These laws are impartial and unaffected by our beliefs or opinions.

The Backwards Law

The Backwards Law, akin to the law of gravity, operates with unwavering consistency. No matter if you are a good or bad person, this law treats everyone equally. Should you find yourself chasing after a desire with desperation, it will seem to slip further away from your grasp. Accepting this law’s existence is not a matter of approval; it merely is what it is—an immutable force shaping the way the universe works.

Applying the Law

Understanding the Backwards Law allows you to harness its power to work in your favor. To do so, mindfulness is key. Keep a vigilant watch over your thoughts and emotions. When anxiety arises concerning a specific desire, immediately remind yourself of the Backwards Law. Give your desire space to breathe; refrain from attempting to control it. Whether your desire revolves around money, a particular person, health, or self-fulfillment, the Backwards Law applies uniformly.

Creating a Safe Space for Your Desires

Rather than desperately pursuing your desires like someone chasing you, learn to be calm and composed. Imagine yourself taking a tranquil walk along a road when suddenly someone panicking and yelling, calling your name, rushes toward you. What would you do? You’d instinctively start running away. Similarly, if you become the one panicking and chasing your desires, they’ll elude you even faster. Instead, create a safe space for your desires to exist. Stay calm and open, allowing them to come to you naturally.

Shifting Focus to Allah:

The Game Changer in My Journey

As mentioned above, shifting your focus from your desires to Allah (God) can be a profound game changer. When I redirected my attention to Allah, everything seemed to fall into place effortlessly. It was as if an external power was illuminating my path. Overwhelmed by the weight of my desires, Allah sent me signals of comfort—a verse from the Quran, a person, or a random video that appeared on my YouTube feed. Entrusting my burdens to Allah brought me relief and reassurance that He would take care of everything better than I or anyone else ever could.

Handing Over to Allah

Letting go of the need to constantly please my desires was liberating. Instead of tirelessly seeking ways to fulfill my desires, I turned my efforts towards pleasing Allah. Recognizing that every single thing in this world belongs to Him—money, health, people, hearts, and everything else—reminded me that even my own body is not mine; it is Allah’s. Embracing this perspective allowed me to prioritize Allah above all else.

The Promise of Allah

Allah assures us in Surah Ad-Duha, Ayat 5 (93:5 Quran), “And soon will your Lord give you so that you shall be well pleased.” Understanding that He is our Lord. Everything belongs to Him and He is Your Lord. We realize that Allah already holds the key to our contentment. By making Him our first priority, we are granted a taste of heaven—a realm where our thoughts manifest into reality effortlessly. This divine connection is the essence of making Allah our foremost focus.

His Unwavering Presence

Unlike our desires, Allah never runs away when we try to approach Him. He remains steadfast, always ready to respond to our steps towards Him with a myriad of blessings. As we take one step towards Allah, He gracefully takes ten steps towards us. This unwavering presence and love are the foundation of true fulfillment.

Less is More:

Less is more

The Art of Effortless Attraction

Another highly effective tip to shift from chasing to attracting is to refrain from exerting excessive effort. Although not easy for everyone, especially those accustomed to covering every inch of the syllabus before an exam, this approach yields incredible results. Surprisingly, working less and believing more has proven to be my winning formula. I’ve always been drawn to shortcuts and smart work over relentless toil. Here’s my simple mantra for avoiding excessive labor:

Taking Actions & Letting Go

Just take the actions you can, without overdoing it, and forget about the result. Anyone, including you, can achieve their desires; some individuals have even attained them effortlessly. We all have two eyes, two hands, one body, and one head—no one is inherently different. It is in our minds that we create these distinctions. Embrace the concept of ease and allow yourself to attract what you desire.

Imperfections and Failures

Take it easy. Normalize making mistakes and experiencing failure. Failing at something won’t lead to your demise, despite the fear in our heads suggesting otherwise. I’ve wrote a separate article for such fears. There might always be a slight gap, but that’s okay. Resist pushing yourself too hard, and take moments to breathe and relax. If something is meant for you, even modest efforts can bring it closer; if it isn’t meant to be, relentless hard work becomes futile. As you take action, remember to live in the present and cherish each moment.

How to Live in the Moment?

Using your five sense to live in the moment

Letting Go of Future Attachments through Present Awareness

To break free from the chasing mentality, it’s essential to release your attachment to the future and fully immerse yourself in the present moment. Your desire for the future is valid, but it’s crucial to recognize that the present moment also craves your attention and acknowledgment.

Simple Techniques for Being Present

For those, like me, who find traditional meditation challenging, there are alternative ways to cultivate present awareness. When you’re outside, engage your senses fully: observe the shades of green on a tree, trace the source of pleasant smells, and distinguish different sounds in your surroundings.

Indoors, take note of what you see, feel the temperature’s impact on your body, and appreciate the texture of the sofa’s fabric.

With loved ones, focus on their expressions, listen intently to their voices, and savor the taste and texture of your food.

Making Conscious Efforts to Be Present

Living in the moment requires active attention, especially in the beginning. Dedicate at least 15 minutes daily to present-focused activities. Gradually increase this time as you grow more comfortable with the practice. When overwhelmed by emotions, returning to the present can help slow the torrent of unwanted feelings, providing a sense of calm and clarity.

Conclusion:

Now, armed with this blueprint, you have the tools to transform from a relentless chaser into a powerful attractor. Let go of the need to chase after your desires; instead, focus on your higher priorities and live in the present. Embrace the Backward Law, and remember that the universe will conspire to bring your desires to you. So, release the burden, trust in a higher power, and effortlessly attract your heart’s desires. The journey ahead will be one of ease and grace, and your dreams will manifest in ways you could have never imagined.
